Chicago Style 17th edition is VST's standard citation style for most of its classes. SBL (Society of Biblical Literature) Style can be also required for Biblical Studies courses. VST library users can access Chicago Style manual both in print and online.

• Additional resource; CHICAGO CITATION STYLE guide developed by Okanagan College Library is a handy 15 page style reference PDF document.

The SBL handbook of style is available both in print and electronically.

Student Supplement for The SBL Handbook of Style, Second Edition is a 17 page PDF document with information on various Biblical studies resources.
